Tumor grading is a central task in surgical pathology and for most tumors specific schemes have evolved over time that have clinical relevance. A certain degree of interobserver variability is an acknowledged and unavoidable trait of human based image analysis and we all know cases, on which not even experts can unite in an unambiguous opinion and where only time will eventually tell. Grading courses, that explain diagnostic criteria, are a valuable training tool and have been demonstrated to improve grading accuracy. However, many clinical pathologists do not have the opportunity to verify the power of their own grading and this prompted us to develop this site.

Here we provide a convenient, non-profit web-based tool to test your grading in typical cohorts of prostate cancer and clear cell renal cell carcinoma. We compiled virtual cohorts from real patients, who underwent surgery with curative intent and your grading will be associated with patient follow up data. After scoring of 100 cases (shown in an overview and detail) you will be presented a Kaplan Meier curve and the p-value (log rank test) of your individual grading. Does your grading translate into a meaningful and significant discrimination of indolent and aggressive cases? Dare to test it! Will you be among the top 15 participants? You may even be creative, design new grading categories and test them - as long as your categories are alpha-numerical.

After registration, which is fully anonymous, you may log in or log out any time to accomplish your tumor series. Take your time. In our experience, a full series may take between 20 and 60 minutes at the most. Have fun!
